Johnson 1904-0700V 7-1/4" Mach-1 Johnny Square Rafter Square with Level Vial
The Johnson 1904-0700V Mach-1 Johnny Square represents the pinnacle of rafter square evolution, merging extreme precision with on-site versatility. Engineered for professional framing carpenters and demanding trade professionals, this 7-1/4" solid aluminum square features an integrated, high-visibility 320-degree level vial that allows it to double as a torpedo level for checking plumb and pitch. Its CNC-machined edges ensure surgical accuracy to 0.001 inches per foot, while the innovative Smart Mark™ cutout system provides dedicated marking points for common lumber sizes, including 1X, 2X, 4X, and 6X, as well as LVL layouts.
Performance Features
- Smart Mark™ Cutouts: Precision-engineered slots for rapid layout of studs, joists, and LVL materials without secondary measurements.
- Integrated Level Vial: Replaceable 320° visibility vial indicates level and plumb, allowing for quick pitch measurements on existing structures.
- EZ-Read™ Markings: Deep laser-etched 1/16" graduations and hi-vis markings resist fading, scratching, and job site wear.
- Advanced Scribe Notches: Continuous scribe notches at 1/8" increments enable perfectly straight rip cuts and parallel marking.
- Anti-Glare Finish: Professional matte black anodized coating reduces glare in direct sunlight and provides superior corrosion resistance.
- Oversized 1" Heel: A wide multifunctional heel ensures the square stays securely seated on split or irregular lumber for consistent accuracy.
