It has an auto oiling feature for added convenience and time saving. It also features metal bucking strips for a durable cutting grip and a tree hook allows you to easily remove pruned branches.

I used this saw to reach dead limbs over 30’ up. It cuts smooth and lasts a very long time on a 9 amp pack. I did 8-10 limbs in 20 trees in less than an hour and it barely made a dent in the battery life. It’s quiet and fast. I would recommend this over using a ladder any day.

The saw arrived very quickly considering I'm in rural BC. It's being used to limb Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir trees on our rural property as part of our interface fire reduction plan. Some of the limbs are nearly the size of the bar so honestly I thought the saw wouldn't "cut it" literally - I was absolutely wrong! The thing is a beast for limbing and I wish I'd had one years ago. Like a gas chainsaw, it won't start when in contact with the wood, but when one gets it going and begins to cut, it's amazingly powerful for the size. While it's not as fast as the Stihl 170 I formerly used - off a ladder - it's not that much slower. So not much slower than a 30cc chainsaw is pretty impressive. Can definitely recommend.
