Saw cuts through anything with ease, pine, spruce, maple, oak. Can be used full length or with just two sections. Uses 20v batteries or 60v flex. Requires a smaller round file for sharpening the chain. Instructions say to empty the oil tank when not in use but if you lay it horizontally with the tank below the chain bar it doesn't leak. No need for gas powered chainsaw.
