The Walter 05Z029 is a precision-engineered pilot pin designed for use with high-performance annular cutters, specifically the SST CORE CUT and ICECUT™ series. This essential accessory serves a dual purpose: it allows for the exact positioning of the annular cutter over the drilling center and facilitates the automatic ejection of the steel slug once the drilling operation is complete.
- Precision Alignment: Ensures the cutter is perfectly centered before the drilling cycle begins, preventing tool drift and improving hole accuracy.
- Automatic Slug Ejection: Spring-loaded functionality forces the slug out of the cutter, reducing downtime between holes and protecting the internal geometry of the cutter.
- Hardened Construction: Manufactured from premium steel, hardened and precision ground to withstand high-torque industrial drilling environments and ensure a long service life.
- Coolant Flow Optimization: Features a flattened edge design that allows for efficient coolant delivery to the center of the cut, reducing heat friction.
