The Pearl Abrasive MAX6060ZG Greenback™ Zirconia Maxidisc™ is a professional-grade trimmable flap disc engineered for high-performance metalworking. Featuring the innovative "Easy Trim" nylon backing, this disc allows users to shave down the green backer as the abrasive flaps wear, effectively exposing new abrasive material and significantly extending the tool's service life. Designed for aggressive stock removal and cooler grinding, it is the premier choice for stainless steel and ferrous metal applications where finish quality and tool longevity are paramount.
Performance Features
- Trimmable Greenback™ Technology: The non-warping nylon backing can be easily trimmed to expose more flap length, reducing disc changes and downtime.
- Premium Zirconia Alumina: 100% self-sharpening zirconia grain provides high stock removal rates and a consistent finish throughout the life of the disc.
- Cooler Grinding Action: Specialized outer coating provides lubrication to prevent burn marks, glazing, and discoloration on heat-sensitive materials like stainless steel.
- Reduced Vibration: The combination of polyester/cotton flaps and a semi-flexible nylon backer absorbs shock, providing a smoother user experience and reduced operator fatigue.
- Contaminate Free: Engineered to be iron, sulfur, and chlorine-free, making it safe for use on critical stainless steel components.
