The Metabo HPT NR1838DKA 18V MultiVolt™ Cordless Metal Connector Nailer is the professional's answer to hose-free joist hanger and strap installations. Engineered with Metabo HPT’s legendary Air Spring Drive System, this tool delivers the speed and feel of a pneumatic nailer without the burden of a compressor or gas cartridges. Its specialized probe-type nose ensures pinpoint accuracy by nesting directly into pre-punched metal connector holes, while the brushless motor provides the power to drive up to 600 nails per charge using the included 4.0Ah battery.
Performance Features
- Air Spring Drive System: Utilizes compressed air to drive each nail, resulting in zero ramp-up time and a firing speed of up to 2 nails per second.
- Probe-Style Nose: Specifically designed to find pre-punched holes in metal connectors quickly and accurately for a secure finish.
- Brushless Motor Technology: Ensures longer runtimes, increased power, and extended tool life with minimal maintenance.
- Dry-Fire Lockout: Prevents the tool from firing when nail count is low, protecting both the workpiece and the internal firing pin.
- MultiVolt System Compatibility: Accepts any 18V battery or 18V/36V MultiVolt battery for ultimate jobsite versatility.
- Tool-Less Depth Adjustment: Allows for quick changes to countersink or flush-drive fasteners into varying wood densities.
