The Makita DUR190LRT8 is a high-performance 18V LXT Brushless Line Trimmer engineered for professional landscaping and intensive residential use. Powered by a high-torque brushless motor and equipped with Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT), this trimmer automatically adjusts its speed and torque based on the density of the vegetation, ensuring optimal battery life and cutting efficiency. With its lightweight design and loop-handle ergonomics, it provides superior maneuverability in tight spaces and on uneven terrain.
Performance Features
- Brushless Motor: Delivers high power-to-weight ratio and cooler operation for extended tool life.
- Automatic Torque Drive (ADT): Intelligently changes cutting speed between 3,500 and 6,000 RPM based on load conditions.
- Active Feedback Sensing (AFT): Shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down or the tool hits an obstacle.
- 3-Speed Control: Manual selection of Low, Medium, and High speeds for varying grass types.
- Extreme Protection Technology (XPT): Enhanced resistance to dust and water for operation in harsh outdoor environments.
- Reverse Rotation: Allows the operator to quickly clear the trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds.
