The Kreg SML-C150-250 Pocket-Hole Screws are high-quality zinc screws engineered specifically for Kreg Joinery applications. These 1-1/2-inch (38mm) screws feature a coarse thread, making them the ideal choice for joining softwoods such as pine, cedar, and fir, as well as sheet goods like plywood and MDF. The washer-head design provides a large surface area to sit flush in the bottom of the pocket, ensuring the screw doesn't over-drive into the pocket-hole while providing maximum clamping pressure for a rock-solid joint.
Performance Features
- Zinc-Plated Protection: Provides a durable layer of protection against moisture, ideal for a wide variety of indoor projects.
- Washer Head Design: Prevents the screw from being over-driven into the pocket, ensuring a secure hold without splitting the workpiece.
- Coarse Thread Pattern: Specifically designed for softwoods and composite materials to provide superior holding power.
- Self-Tapping Tip: Features a Type-17 auger point that drills its own hole, eliminating the need for pilot holes and preventing wood splitting.
- Square Drive Compatibility: Deep #2 square drive prevents driver slipping (cam-out) even under high torque.
