The MK Morse ZWEP271418MC Master Cobalt Portable Band Saw Blade represents the pinnacle of bi-metal cutting technology, specifically engineered for professional use in compact and standard portable band saws. Featuring the renowned Master Cobalt (Matrix II) cutting edge, these blades are designed to tackle the most demanding metalworking applications, including stainless steel, machinable metals, and heavy-walled tubing. The variable pitch tooth design (14/18 TPI) significantly reduces vibration during the cut, leading to smoother finishes and extended tool life compared to standard carbon steel or basic bi-metal alternatives.
Performance Features
- Master Cobalt Matrix II Edge: Premium high-speed steel cutting edge provides superior heat and wear resistance for cutting tough materials.
- Variable Pitch Teeth: The 14/18 TPI configuration minimizes harmonic vibration and noise, ensuring a faster, cleaner cut across varying material thicknesses.
- Shock Resistant: Specially treated bi-metal construction is highly resistant to tooth strippage and fatigue breakage.
- Versatile Application: Optimized for cutting stainless steel, iron pipe, angle iron, threaded rod, and conduit.
- American Made: Manufactured in Canton, Ohio, ensuring world-class industrial quality and consistency.
