The Milescraft 1409 TrackSawGuide™ transforms your standard circular saw into a high-precision guided track saw system, allowing you to achieve perfectly straight, splinter-free cuts with professional accuracy. Engineered with an all-aluminum rail construction, this universal system eliminates the flex associated with plastic guides, providing a rigid and reliable platform for ripping sheet goods, cross-cutting, or making precise angled cuts. Its universal base is designed to accommodate most circular saws with blades up to 7-1/4 inches, making it a versatile and cost-effective alternative to dedicated, expensive track saw units.
Performance Features
- Universal Compatibility: Fits most left or right-handed circular saws with blades up to 7-1/4" (Not compatible with most worm-drive or rear-handle saws).
- Rigid All-Metal Construction: High-grade aluminum rails increase stability and significantly reduce flex for superior cutting accuracy.
- Anti-Splinter Strip: Integrated red cutting-strip acts as a zero-clearance guide to prevent chipping and splintering while providing a clear visual of the blade path.
- Non-Slip Grip: Long anti-slip strips on the underside of the rails keep the track securely in place, often eliminating the need for clamps on smaller cuts.
- Expandable Design: Includes 55 inches of total track length out of the box, with the option to add additional GuideRail™ extensions for unlimited length.
- Low-Profile Operation: Specifically designed to allow a cutting depth of up to 2 inches, sufficient for cutting through standard interior door thicknesses.
