Product Overview
The Malco MSHXLCST C-RHEX® Sawtooth Hex Driver is a dual-sided, industrial-grade fastening solution designed to revolutionize HVAC and roofing installation. Engineered with a proprietary sawtooth cutting edge, this driver rapidly slices through hardened sealants and mastic to engage fasteners without stripping, while the reversible socket allows seamless switching between 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch sizes in seconds.
Performance Features
- Sawtooth Sealant Cutter: Integrated oscillating cutting edge aggressively clears mastic, caulk, and roofing tar from fastener heads.
- Reversible Dual-Socket: Patented C-RHEX® design flips effortlessly between 1/4" and 5/16" hex openings, eliminating the need for multiple bits.
- Easy-Clean Magnet: The driver shaft can be completely removed from the socket to wipe away metal shavings and sealant buildup instantly.
- S2 Hardened Steel: Constructed from premium shock-resistant S2 tool steel for maximum torque transfer and impact durability.
- True-Spin Magnetism: Heavy-duty, deep-set magnet engages the fastener head securely without contacting the screw tip, ensuring wobble-free driving.
- 6-Inch Extended Reach: Extra-long shaft design provides superior access to deep-set screws and obstructed plenum spaces.
