The Wiha 53082 SoftFinish X-Heavy Duty Screwdriver Set is engineered for the most demanding industrial and automotive applications, providing professional-grade performance where standard drivers fail. This 2-piece set features a robust through-blade design paired with a solid steel striking cap, allowing for hammer impact resistance to loosen seized fasteners or perform light chiseling tasks. Crafted in Germany, these tools utilize high-performance CVM tool steel, precisely heat-treated for maximum durability and a service life that spans years of heavy daily use.
Performance Features
- Through-Blade Construction: Full-length steel blade extends through the handle to the striking cap for direct energy transfer during hammer impacts.
- Solid Steel Striking Cap: Integrated metal cap protects the handle and user from impact forces while providing a durable surface for striking.
- Hex Bolster: Hexagonal blade base allows for the application of a wrench to provide significantly higher torque for stubborn screws.
- SoftFinish® Handle: Ergonomic 8-edged multi-component handle with a cushioned grip maximizes surface area in the palm for efficient power transfer and reduced hand fatigue.
- Precision Machined Tips: Exact-fit tips nearly eliminate fastener cam-out, protecting both the tool and the screw head.
- Anti-Roll Design: Parallel flats on the handle prevent the tool from rolling off workbenches or flat surfaces.
