The MAXTRIM Trimmable Flap Discs can blend or grind. The XP Ultra Performance Ceramic range has ceramic grains and is best for heavy duty aggressive grinding, while the HP (High Performance) range has Zirconia grains and is best for medium to light grinding. They are manufactured in our facility that is certified to the latest ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Includes
(1) Flap Disc
Features
- Engineered to Last - High quality ceramic grain allows DEWALT ELITE SERIESFlap Disc to last up to 75% longer than 3M flap disc (Based on DWA8280CTR (4.5") versus 3M51645 (4.5") grinding 1/4" 45# steel. 3M is a registered trademark of 3M Company, which has not endorsed or approved this comparison).
- Trimmable Backer - By trimming away the edge of the backing plate, the user gains access to an otherwise unutilized portion of the flap, allowing for long wheel life.
- Versatile Backing - Type 27 backing provides grinding angle of 0-15 degrees.

Free Shipping Policy Restrictions
Items that ship at carrier rates. An item doesn’t ship free if it, or its shipping box, weighs over 50 lb, is longer than 48 in. or has two sides over 30 in., or is bigger than 4 cubic feet (about a 24 × 24 × 12 in. box). Carriers charge these by size, not just weight. These items say “Shipping charge applies” on the product page, and you’ll see the exact cost at checkout before you pay. Orders to the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut, and to a few remote postal areas (codes starting A0K, A0P, A2V, G0G, J0M, R0B or V0T), are not eligible for free shipping and are charged carrier rates at checkout. *Our free shipping policy is subject to change without notice.
