The GRK RSS (Rugged Structural Screw) 10299 is the ultimate high-performance alternative to traditional lag screws, specifically engineered for heavy-duty structural applications. Made from case-hardened steel, these 3/8" x 12" screws provide exceptional tensile, torque, and shear strength, making them ideal for ledger boards, deck posts, playground equipment, and multi-ply LVL fastening. Featuring the patented Climatek™ coating, these fasteners are code-approved for use in pressure-treated lumber and offer superior corrosion resistance for both interior and exterior environments.
Performance Features
- Zip-Tip™ & W-Cut™: Enables fast penetration and eliminates the need for pre-drilling in most wood species, significantly reducing installation time and effort.
- CEE Thread™: Enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion, allowing the wood to settle naturally and increasing the screw's drawing strength while reducing friction and splitting.
- Climatek™ Coating: Provides a durable, AC257 code-approved barrier against corrosion, specifically tested for use in ground-contact and treated lumber.
- Recessed Star Drive: The T-40 drive interface provides six points of contact for zero-stripping and maximum torque transfer.
- Integrated Washer Head: Features a built-in shield that offers massive clamping force with a clean, low-profile finish.

Free Shipping Policy Restrictions
Large or heavy items (over 50 lb) ship at the most economical rate available. Orders shipping to the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut are not eligible for free shipping. *Our free shipping policy is subject to change without notice.
How long will it take to get my order?
Delivery usually 2–5 business days after dispatch. Expedited shipping is available at extra cost on request.
Most in-stock orders placed by 1:00 PM ET (Monday–Friday) ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET, on weekends or on holidays ship the next business day.
Large, overweight and LTL freight orders may need 1 or more extra business days to prepare.
What shipping carriers do you use?
Most orders are shipped courier via Purolator, UPS, or Canada Post. We will use other carriers at our own descretion depending on Product size and weight.

I only received part of my order, where is the rest?
Your order may ship in more than one package depending on the quantity or size of the products purchased. Also, items in your order may ship from either of our 2 locations and arrive in separate deliveries.
Sometimes we place smaller items from your order inside of one box to save on shipping so always open all boxes to confirm what you have recieved.

If a product is defective on arrival and you notice it and contact us within 3 days of delivery, Wise Line Tools will handle it and pay the shipping.
