The vacuum is very quiet and has powerful suction but for cost cutting reason I suspect t, is hey don't have the hose swivel on the end of the hose (on the machine end only). this is a very big failure, and they don't have a swivel adapter for the 2 1/2" hose. I would not recommend the vacuum at all for this reason. Can't believe for the price of this vacuum Dewalt's design is extremely poor.
