The Wera 838 RA-R L is a premium bitholding screwdriver engineered for maximum efficiency in professional industrial environments. Featuring a fine-toothed ratchet mechanism integrated directly into the handle, this tool allows for incredibly fast screwdriving without the need for constant hand repositioning. A standout innovation is the high-speed 'spinning' capability, which allows the user to rotate the screw rapidly when resistance is low, significantly reducing assembly time. The direction of the ratchet is intuitively controlled via a ring switch (clockwise, fixed, or counter-clockwise), while the '0' position locks the mechanism for precise manual adjustments.
Performance Features
- Fine-Tooth Ratchet: Integrated mechanism with minimal return angle for precision work in tight spaces.
- High-Speed Spinning: Innovative ratchet ring design allows for rapid rotation when the screw offers little resistance.
- Rapidaptor Technology: Quick-release chuck for lightning-fast, one-handed bit changes; suitable for 1/4" DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3 bits.
- Kraftform Handle: Ergonomically shaped multi-component handle with hard and soft zones to prevent blisters and calluses while maximizing torque transfer.
- Anti-Roll Feature: Hexagonal handle base prevents the tool from rolling away on inclined surfaces.
- Permanent Magnet: Strong internal magnet ensures bits are held securely and remain wobble-free during high-torque applications.
