The Walter Drillco (SG-3L6) is a precision-engineered solid carbide bur designed for high-performance material removal in restricted and hard-to-reach areas. Featuring an extended 6-inch shank and a tree-shaped pointed end (SG profile), this tool is optimized for deburring, contouring, and weld preparation in stainless steel, steel alloys, and other tough metals. The double-cut tooth geometry provides aggressive cutting action with reduced chip size, ensuring improved operator control and a superior surface finish.
Performance Features
- Extended Reach: 6-inch overall length allows for access into deep cavities and recessed workpiece areas where standard burs cannot reach.
- Double Cut Geometry: Cross-cut fluting design minimizes chatter, produces smaller chips, and allows for faster material removal rates.
- Industrial Carbide Grade: Manufactured from premium sub-micron carbide for exceptional hardness and edge retention at high operating temperatures.
- SG Profile: The tree-shaped pointed end is ideal for navigating narrow contours and sharp internal corners.
- Balanced Shank: Precision-ground 1/4" shank ensures concentricity, reducing vibration and protecting the longevity of your die grinder.
