The Sturnus ST13OZ-M-LH-P01 Velocity series hammer is a high-performance striking tool engineered for professional framers and carpenters who demand maximum impact with minimal fatigue. Featuring a precision-forged high-carbon steel head mounted on a lightweight, high-strength Alucore™ aluminum handle, this hammer provides the driving power of a traditional 20oz steel hammer while weighing significantly less. The 13oz head weight is strategically balanced to increase swing velocity, ensuring deep nail sets with every strike.
- Alucore™ Technology: Solid forged aluminum handle provides extreme durability while reducing overall weight by 20% compared to standard steel hammers.
- Milled Face: Aggressive milled striking surface prevents slipping on nail heads, ensuring positive contact in demanding framing applications.
- Vibration Damping: Integrated anti-vibration grip technology significantly reduces shock and rebound, protecting the user from repetitive strain and elbow fatigue.
- Long Handle Design: The 400mm (15.8") handle provides superior leverage and increased swing arc for heavy-duty driving tasks.
- Magnetic Nail Starter: Features a reinforced magnetic slot for one-handed overhead reaching and fast initial sets.
- Side Nail Puller: High-leverage side puller allows for quick removal of stubborn nails without damaging the workpiece.
