It was a very quick learning curve switching from the cheapest dripless guns. I am a carpenter that does a lot of trim and this works very well for the dap latex caulk I use. It feels real nice in the hand, quite a bit heavier than the cheap ones but worth the extra weight. I find sometimes you have to manually release the pressure. Also I find if you use the pokey and one 3 or 4 holes in the back side of the tube it helps with air bubbles. Very nice highly recommend for latex caulk, haven't used it for anything else yet but it's got the pushing power. Very little hands pressure needed.
