i5R EOS: Rechargeable Version of i5T EOS
The i5R EOS is the rechargeable version of i5T EOS, one of our most popular tail-switch EDC flashlights. It adopts a customized 1420mAh Li-ion battery with an integrated USB Type-C interface for charging. The high-performance LED, paired with a PMMA lens, produces a soft and balanced beam up to 350 lumens. Like the i5T EOS, it features a tail switch, aerospace grade aluminum alloy body, unique double helix knurling, and a two-way pocket clip. The i5R is the perfect upgrade with higher performance and a rechargeable design.

1. Q: What charger can be used for i5R?
A: The I5R uses the USBA-C charging cable (shared with the Open 2 charging cable)
2. Q: Is i5R compatible with other batteries? Will there be any effects?
A: The product is compatible with alkaline AA, Ni-MH AA, and lithium-ion AA batteries. When using these batteries, the maximum brightness may not reach 350Lm, which will not affect the use.
The I5R can only use batteries with a voltage of no more than 2.6V, so it cannot use 3.7V 14500 batteries.
3. Q: Are the batteries of i5R and I5T interchangeable?
A: i5R can use the battery of i5T, i5T cannot use the battery of i5R.Because the i5R battery has a higher voltage (2.7 volts instead of 1.5 volts) than the i5T, the led chipset will burn out on the i5T. The i5R can however run the AAA battery (If a bit dimmer).
4. Q: What is the material of i5R's body?
A: The i5R is made of AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy.
5. Q: My i5R becomes hot on high mode, is this normal?
A: Please don't worry, it is normal that the light will become hot on high mode, usually no more than 50°C. Besides, it will downshift automatically if it has stayed on high mode for more than 10 minutes, which ensured safety.
