The Bessey 2400J-12 is a professional-grade industrial clamping solution designed to "step over" obstructions such as channel iron, angle iron, or I-beams. Engineered from Bessey’s signature cold-drawn steel, this J-series clamp eliminates the need for manual blocking in complex welding and metal fabrication setups. Its unique frame design allows for a 4-inch step-over height while maintaining a massive 2,660 lbs of clamping force, ensuring maximum stability in heavy-duty environments.
Performance Features
- Step-Over Capability: Specialized J-shaped frame allows the rail to clear obstructions up to 4 inches high.
- Forged Sliding Arm: Made from tempered, drop-forged steel for an extended industrial service life.
- Patented MorPad Pressure Plate: Features a unique tilting mechanism (up to 35°) to securely hold uneven or angled workpieces.
- Heat-Treated Rail: The rail and fixed jaw are created from a single piece of cold-drawn steel, heat-treated for superior strength and resistance to torsion.
- Spatter-Resistant Spindle: High-carbon Acme threaded screw is tempered and quenched for high load capacity and is resistant to weld spatter.
- Ergonomic T-Bar Handle: High-strength electro-galvanized sliding pin handle with rounded ends for maximum comfort and leverage.

How long will it take to get my order?
Typical delivery times after your order ships: 1–2 business days in Ontario; 3–5 in Quebec, the Atlantic provinces (NS, NB, PE) and the Prairies; 5–8 in BC and Newfoundland & Labrador. Expedited shipping is available at extra cost on request.
Most in-stock orders placed by 12:00 PM ET (Monday–Friday) ship the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET, on weekends or on holidays ship the next business day.
Large, overweight and LTL freight orders may need 1 or more extra business days to prepare.
What shipping carriers do you use?
Most orders are shipped courier via Purolator, UPS, or Canada Post. We will use other carriers at our own descretion depending on Product size and weight.

I only received part of my order, where is the rest?
Your order may ship in more than one package depending on the quantity or size of the products purchased. Also, items in your order may ship from either of our 2 locations and arrive in separate deliveries.
Sometimes we place smaller items from your order inside of one box to save on shipping so always open all boxes to confirm what you have recieved.

If a product is defective on arrival and you notice it and contact us within 3 days of delivery, Wise Line Tools will handle it and pay the shipping.
