A century of tough

The DEWALT Story

DEWALT began in 1924, when Raymond E. DeWalt invented the radial arm saw — a machine built to make woodworking faster and more precise. That spirit of jobsite innovation has defined the brand ever since.

Over the last century DEWALT grew from an industrial pioneer into a global leader in professional-grade tools. Today, under Stanley Black & Decker, its signature yellow-and-black tools are trusted on jobsites worldwide — from the best-selling FLEXVOLT cordless system to a full lineup of power tools, outdoor equipment, hand tools and accessories.

At Wise Line Tools, we've proudly supplied and supported DEWALT across Canada — pairing professional-grade tools with professional-grade service.

DEWALT Questions, Answered

Is Wise Line Tools an authorized DEWALT dealer?

Yes. Wise Line Tools is a fully authorized DEWALT dealer in Canada. Every DEWALT tool we sell is genuine and is backed by the full DEWALT manufacturer warranty. Buying from an authorized dealer is important because DEWALT's warranty only applies to products purchased from authorized sellers.

Do you repair and warranty DEWALT tools?

Yes. We service and repair DEWALT tools and will help process manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf. If you need a repair or want to confirm whether an issue is covered, contact our team and we'll guide you through the next steps.

What warranty comes with DEWALT power tools?

Most DEWALT power tools include a 3-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, a 1-Year Free Service Contract, and a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Some products carry a 7-Year Limited Warranty. DEWALT hand tools carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and DEWALT Mechanics Tools carry a Full Lifetime Warranty. See the official DEWALT warranty terms for full details.

Are DEWALT 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT batteries interchangeable?

DEWALT 20V MAX, 20V MAX XR, POWERSTACK and FLEXVOLT batteries all work in 20V MAX tools. FLEXVOLT batteries are dual-voltage: they run as 20V in 20V MAX tools and automatically switch to 60V (or 120V with two batteries) in FLEXVOLT tools. 12V MAX batteries are a separate, smaller platform and are not interchangeable with 20V MAX tools.

Do you ship DEWALT tools across Canada?

Yes — we ship across Canada from within Canada, so there are no surprise duties or import fees. Shipping is free on most orders over $149 (some oversized or heavy items are excluded). See our shipping policy for details.

How do I start a DEWALT warranty claim?

If you're within the 90-day window, you can return the tool with your receipt. For warranty repairs, don't return the tool to a store — contact DEWALT at 1-800-4-DEWALT (1-800-433-9258), or reach out to us and we'll help arrange service. Keep your proof of purchase handy for power tools (it isn't required for Mechanics Tools).
