Hello Wiseline tools I can't give you my appreciation of this tool cause i haven't receive it yet. The order is still pending even if i've been charged on my Visa card, still waiting for the chainsaw to get in here. What i can tell you is that i find this way to proceed very special, i'm in the aftermarket for over 38 years now and i've never charge my customer for someting they haven't get yet. Just like all dewalt tools, this one does not disappoint either. Cuts wood like a dream and is going to be an awesome saw for times when the gas saw doesn’t need to be used.
CanadaWorks just enough
Had to cut 3 ply 2 x 12 beam w 2 top plates. Cut was an 1/8" away from the top plate on steel jack post. While this chain saw laboured, it delivered a precise crosscut. It's light and easy to control. Only detail I didn't like was the trigger. The double action trigger requires both fingers and thumb to operate. This awkward design limits the positions to hold saw comfortably. Works for little jobs but it won't replace my orange gas powered saw.

Works great for carrying on the quad. I wouldn't cut down big trees with it but for clearing debris that has fallen on the trails, it works great.

Light weight. Very weak in terms of power. Will not start if chain is resting on wood. Only purpose is for use as a pruning saw on smaller branches.
