The Irwin 2073211 9-1/2-in ProTouch Offset Handle Utility Snips are precision-engineered for professional tradespeople requiring high-leverage cutting of tough materials. These snips feature hot-drop forged steel blades for maximum strength and a significantly longer cutting life compared to standard stamped blades. Designed with an offset handle configuration, they keep the user's hands safely above the work material, enabling continuous straight and curved left-hand cuts in sheet metal, vinyl, and plastic with minimal hand fatigue.
Performance Features
- Hot-drop forged steel blades provide superior strength and a sharper, longer-lasting cutting edge.
- Compound cutting action maximizes leverage to reduce the amount of hand force required for heavy-duty cuts.
- Ergonomic ProTouch™ grips offer maximum comfort and resist twisting, ensuring precise control during use.
- Offset blade design keeps hands away from sharp material edges and work surfaces for improved safety.
- E-Z close latch allows for secure, one-handed operation and safe storage when not in use.
- Serrated lower blade grips material to prevent slippage and ensure smooth, clean cuts.
